Step 22 – Travel Pouches
Step22 needed a tech organizer and toiletry bag that stood on their own as products, solving the common "black hole" problem of interiors too rigid or loose to keep contents in place. As lead designer, I led ideation and sampling with the Step22 team and owner, landing on spacious, purposeful forms. The core innovation is a system of collapsible interior dividers that reconfigure a compartment for a single bulky item or several smaller ones. Both pouches extends that philosophy with a built-in workspace, removable pouches, and dedicated pockets. A patented organization system that gave Step22 a defining feature distinct from competitors, and two pouches that function as considered, standalone products.
